Terms of use
Last updated: 22 July 2026.
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms of use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Plaqat service, available at plaqat.app and through the associated mobile app (the “Service”), published by a natural person acting in a non-professional capacity (see the Legal notice). The iOS app is distributed via Apple's App Store ; that platform is not a party to these Terms.
Using the Service means you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Plaqat is a service for discovering cultural events in Paris (concerts, exhibitions, theatre, cinema, etc.). The Service aggregates information from public sources and lets users browse, save and share selections of events.
Plaqat is purely an information and discovery service. It is neither a ticket seller, nor an event organiser, nor a travel or tour operator within the meaning of the French Tourism Code : it sells nothing, makes no bookings and takes no payment. Any ticket purchase happens directly on the website of the relevant venue, organiser or box office, under their own terms.
The information shown (dates, venues, prices) is provided purely for guidance and may contain errors or last-minute changes. We recommend checking every detail directly with the organiser before travelling or purchasing.
3. User account
Browsing the catalogue is free and requires no account. An account is needed to sync your favourites across devices and access advanced features (lists, notifications).
Sign-up is by magic link or code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your account confidential. Any fraudulent use you notice must be reported immediately to salut@plaqat.app.
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
4. User-generated content
The Service lets you create event lists, public or private (“User Content”). By making a list public, you grant Plaqat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the Service.
You keep all rights to your User Content. Plaqat claims no ownership over your creations.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you publish. You warrant that it does not infringe third-party rights (copyright, image rights, privacy) and is not unlawful (hateful, defamatory, misleading).
5. Prohibited uses
In particular, you must not:
- Automatically extract or reuse the Service's content (scraping, crawling) without prior written authorisation;
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without prior agreement;
- Attempt to harm the security or technical integrity of the Service;
- Create fake accounts or impersonate a third party;
- Publish unlawful, hateful or defamatory content, or content that infringes the privacy of others.
6. Availability and limitation of liability
Plaqat is a service under active development. We make our best efforts to keep it available, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Service interruptions, in particular for maintenance, may occur.
Event information is aggregated from third-party sources and may contain errors or last-minute changes. Plaqat accepts no liability for any harm resulting from inaccurate information (a cancellation, or a change of venue or time not reflected, etc.).
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Plaqat's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, source code and editorial content are the property of Anna Dmitrieva and protected by intellectual-property law. Any reproduction or use without authorisation is prohibited.
8. Changes to the Terms
Plaqat reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Any material change will be notified by email or by a visible notice within the Service. Continuing to use the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the French courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the protective rules of your country of residence : you keep the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile and to rely on the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
For consumers, the European online dispute-resolution platform is available at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Mobile app and distribution platform
The Plaqat iOS app is downloaded via Apple's App Store. Your use of the app is also subject to the terms of that platform.
For the iOS app, these Terms serve as the end-user licence agreement (EULA). Apple is not a party to this agreement and assumes no responsibility for the app or its content ; any claim, or question of compliance or intellectual property, is the responsibility of the publisher and not of Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are, however, third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce its terms against you. The Service may not be used in a country subject to an embargo, nor by anyone on a prohibited-persons list under applicable law.
11. Reporting unlawful content
In accordance with the French Act for confidence in the digital economy (LCEN) and the European Digital Services Act (DSA), you may report any content you consider unlawful (infringement of copyright or privacy, hateful content, incorrect event information, etc.).
Use the report link on event pages, or write to salut@plaqat.app stating the URL concerned and the reason. We review every report diligently and, without undue delay, remove or disable access to any manifestly unlawful content. Removal or exclusion requests from the venues and organisers referenced are handled the same way (see Data sources).
