Plaqat for cultural venues

What we list, what you get, and your rights — in plain words.

Who we are

Plaqat is a free, independent guide to cultural events in Paris — concerts, exhibitions, theatre, opera, jazz, festivals — on the web and soon on iOS. We don't sell tickets: every event page links to the event's official box office — yours, or your distributor's. Our purpose is to help Parisians discover your programme before it sells out.

What we list

  • Facts only: title, dates, times, venue, price, and a link to your page.
  • Descriptions taken from open data or from other websites are limited to a short excerpt (200 to 280 characters), followed by a “Read more” link to the original page when the text is cut. Texts supplied by our ticketing partners under their affiliate programme are shown as the partner provides them, without rewriting.
  • Images are never copied or stored — they are displayed from your server, with the source credited on the event page (and the photographer credit relayed verbatim when you publish one).
  • The source is cited on every event page, and your venue has its own page gathering its full programme.

What you get

  • An audience actively choosing what to do — clicking through to your box office at the moment of decision.
  • Your events appear in our recommendations, curated collections, the map and search.
  • We flag “Tickets on sale” — our users are alerted at the right moment.

Your rights — our commitment

Your programme belongs to you. On request at salut@plaqat.app, we correct any information, remove an image, or remove your venue from Plaqat entirely — within 24 hours. And we do not crawl your website: your programme reaches Plaqat only through open data, partners, or what you send us yourself.

Your venue isn't on Plaqat?

The simplest way: add salut@plaqat.app to your press or professional mailing list. What you send us that way, we relay — facts, dates, a link to your box office — and nothing else. You can also write to us directly at salut@plaqat.app to send us your programme or offer us a feed.

A venue may appear on Plaqat through open data (ODbL, Licence Ouverte), through our ticketing partners' catalogues, or because it sent us its programme. We do not crawl your website. On simple request to salut@plaqat.app, we remove your venue from Plaqat within 24 hours, without you having to give a reason.
