Data sources

Last updated: August 2026

Plaqat gathers cultural information from several kinds of source: agendas published directly on Paris cultural venues' websites, specialised agendas, a partner ticketing API, and the open datasets listed below. Every event links back to its original source.

Enrichment of pages (artists and venues)

To complete artist and venue pages (photos, genres, official websites, details), Plaqat draws on open bases and public APIs, with attribution:

  • Wikidata and Wikipediastructured data and entries (official websites, disciplines), under CC0 / CC BY-SA.
  • MusicBrainz and Deezerartist identifiers, genres and images.
  • OpenStreetMapvenue lookup and coordinates, under ODbL 1.0 (© OpenStreetMap contributors).

Paris cultural venues

Plaqat indexes the agendas published directly on the websites of more than 150 Paris cultural venues (museums, theatres, concert halls, galleries), as well as a few specialised agendas (e.g. Paris Jazz Club) and public programmes such as the Fête de la Musique. This data is used for information purposes only, and each event shows a direct link to its original source.
